“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
 -Victor Frankl

As each of us goes through this life there will be situations that are out of our control.  As a licensed professional counselor, I can encourage you and give you the tools to face difficult situations and perhaps look at them in a new and more helpful way.

I started my journey at Texas Tech where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies.  There I learned just how much people can be impacted by their environment and how one person taking the time asking the right questions can change how we view ourselves and the world around us.  I went on to receive my Master’s degree in Behavioral Sciences from Lubbock Christian University and began practicing counseling. For several years, I’ve worked with individuals healing from traumatic events, relationships and loss.  Learning to grow through a challenge, no matter what it is, is one of the most amazing things human beings are capable of.  People, by nature, are uncomfortable with change, but continually I witness people find the strength to begin again, try something new, and create a new normal. If this sounds like something you would like to do, either for yourself or in your relationship, but you are not sure where to start, I’m here to listen and walk through this with you.
